This page explains, in plain language, what information AfriStore collects and why. We only collect what's needed to actually get your order to you and keep the platform running — nothing is sold to third parties.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, and email if you register an account.
• Delivery location: your address or GPS coordinates, used to calculate accurate delivery fees and get your order to the right place.
• Order history: what you've bought, from which seller, and when.
• Payment details: your M-Pesa number, used only to process payment for your order — we do not store M-Pesa PINs or full transaction credentials.
• WhatsApp messages: if you order or chat with our WhatsApp bot, we process your messages to help you find products and place orders.
• Seller information: if you register as a seller, your business details, location, and product listings.

How we use it

• To process and deliver your orders, and calculate accurate delivery pricing.
• To send order updates and delivery codes via WhatsApp or SMS.
• To connect buyers with the right nearby sellers.
• To improve AfriStore based on how it's actually used.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. Your location and order data are used only to operate AfriStore.

Your choices

You can update or remove your saved location and account details at any time from your account page. If you'd like your data removed entirely, contact us using the details below.
